Depart PUS - KUL

₩ 1,300

  • Gimhae International Airport
We arrived at Gimahe International Airport around 8 am since our flight departed from KUL to PUS around 1.25 am. After settling at the airport then kitaorg solat subuh dekat surau airport. The airport provides prayer rooms for Muslim but sharing space lah. Then we decided to put our luggage at our Airbnb. From the airport got light rail transit 'Gimhae International Airport Station' like mcm KTM la, first we topup our T-money at the convenience store, 7E pun bokeh topup. We just topup each 30 000. Then just follow the sign and google maps, we arrived at our Airbnb. Our Airbnb near to Jeaonpo Station, since we arrived a bit early in the morning, boleh letak luggage je dekat bilik sbb bilik to kemas lgi. Pkl 3 ptg nnti baru bleh check-in.

  • Yongdusan Park
After dropping our luggage, we proceed to our first destination to Yongdusan Park. From Jeonpo Station stop at Nampo Station, exit 5,7,1. Keluar train je ada map so just follow the maps and sign. On the way to Yongdusan park, akan lalu Jalan ke Gwangbok-ro Fashion Street. Dekat situ sometime ada volunteer yg boleh tunjukkan jalan, so diaorg akan guide tunjukkan Jalan. Then kena naik escalator provided Untuk naik ke Yongdusan Park. Yongdusan Park is one of the most popular attraction in Busan. We love the ambiance here, it is yet very peaceful and calm. It is the park below the Busan tower. It features a statue of Admiral Yi and huge ceremonial bell. There is also a flower clock beside the bell. Kitaorg bawa bekal so kitaorg spend 1 to 2-hour dkt situ untuk lunch.

  • Gukje Market
  • Jagalchi Market
  • Gwangbok-Ro Fashion Street
  • BIFF Plaza
From Yongdusan Park, we went to Jagalchi Market. Klu ikutkan plan, we plan to go to Bosudong but unfortunately, masa agak limit. So from Yongdusan Park, we walked passing by Gukje Market and Gwangbok-ro fashion street. Gukje market like pasar malam, semua benda ada mosty barang2 keperluan rumah, souvenirs dkt situ agak susah nk jumpa. We just follow the sign provided, actually boleh naik bas tpi kitaorg jalan kaki sbb tk jauh sangat. Then we arrived at the Jagalchi market. Interesting seafood market. With stores set up along the street and in a building (where you can have seafood level 2). They were gigantic. The ‘spider’ crabs were huge. There were so many different kinds of seafood. Overall, nothing special and you can have seafood at any other place in town too. Tapi kitaorg decide tak makan sbb a bit pricey. Then, near Jagalchi Market got a BIFF square. This is a must visit in Busan. The night market offers numerous street food which is beyond imagination. It is very delicious, affordable, and worth trying. BIFF Square is easy to access and very near to the bus and train station. Walking distance to Jagalchi Market, Busan Tower, Gukje Market, and Fashion Street. Kitaorg tk plan nk dinner dkt situ, just beli makanan ringan je. Then we proceed back to our Airbnb and dinner dkt bilik.

  • Eden Valley Resort
  • Seomyeon Underground Shopping Center
So today we went to Eden valley resort to try some ski experience. We already book through Trazy 1 Day Ski/Snowboard/Snow Sled Tour: Eden Valley Resort from Busan. Better book online sbb dia provide transport and all the equipment service. Booked by trazy for the first time got 30% if I’m not mistaken. The package includes roundtrip transport, the equipment, ski clothes, basic lesson, and tour guide. The service will pick up all the tourists at the pickup point and one of them is Seomyen Station. Since our Airbnb near to Seomyen Station, we decided to wait at Seomyeon Station. All the information, the itinerary will be emailed so just follow je. Exit je Seomyeon Station ada volunteer yang take over semua. The trip well organized and the guides were friendly. An unforgettable experience at one of South Korea's best ski resort. It was my first time to try skiing and a bit hassle juga lah nk menjayakan. Since Eden valley at top of the mountain, a bit cold than usual lah but bila dh berski tk rasa pun sejuk. Kitaorg bawa bekal from our Airbnb, jimat plus bawaklah maggie cup ke sbb nikmat dia lain sikit. Dkt sana provide hot water for guest so bleh guna. Kitaorg solat dkt changing room but bergilir lah. Make sure stick with the itinerary. Then ptg tu time to go back. Since we arrived around 5 or 6 we decided to spend our evening at Seomyeon underground shopping center. Boleh tahan luas underground shopping center tu, there are a lot of things. We bought our dinner at Lotteria then later we head back to our Airbnb.

  • Gamcheon Culture Village
So for today’s planning, we decided to explore the southwest area. We planned to go to Jangnim Harbor but we woke up a bit late because penat semalam tak hilang lagi. After breakfast and siapkan bekal untuk hrini, around 9.30 we left our Airbnb and proceeded to visit Gamcheon Culture Village. Way to go to Gamcheon needs to stop at Toseong Station, exit 6 there will be a “Gamcheon Culture Village” sign on the exit area. Jalan sikit Go to the small bus station board in front of the Pusan National University Hospital building. Bus stop tu betul depan hospital building tu. Then wait for the green minibus (Saha 1-1, Seogu 2 or Seogu 2-2). After 10/15min on the bus, then we arrived at Gamcheon Culture Village. The village is a beautiful sight, with the colors and the way the locals built their houses on the slope of the mountain. The main street mainly caters to tourists flooded with restaurants and souvenir shops. The village feels very touristy. Bear in mind that the village is quite wide. There are so many beautiful instagrammable hotspots. If you are looking for souvenirs in Busan, I suggest that you just buy the souvenir at the Gamcheon Culture Village. I highly recommend it because in this village only we are able to find the souvenir representing Busan. Then around 1 or 2, we decided to move to the next destination. Way to go back is the same as coming here with the same green bus, just follow the google maps. The bus stop is on the opposite road.

  • Songdo Beach
  • Amnam Park
Then we proceeded to visit Songdo Beach, from Pusan National University Hospital, we walked a bit passing by Toseong Station there is a bus stop. By Bus: Take Bus 6, 26, 30, 71, 96, or 96-1 and get off at Amnam-dong Community Service Center bus stop. Then needs to walk a bit before arriving at Songdo Beach. We already booked the Songdo cable car ticket through klook, it is much cheaper. If you bought online, they will provide all the information, the way how to get there, the visual guide, and location maps. The ride is 5 to 8 mins per trip. It gives a perfect view of the beach and coast. The cable car is heading to Amnam Park. The blue sea is so beautiful. We took the standard cable but there's an option where you can sit at the glass-bottomed cable car. Even so, we could already see how beautiful everything is. Best to go during the day so you can have a clear view of the sea. We booked a round trip so we took the first ride around 2 pm, and rode back around 5 pm. Upon reaching the top the view is 360 degrees of Busan. There are stalls for food and souvenirs to enjoy. Also, there are a lot of photo opportunities such as the time capsule wall and a message in a bottle. You can walk around the different levels decks to enjoy the view before going back. There are so many things we can do at Amnam Park. We decided to have our lunch at Amnam Park. Then we rode back to Songdo Beach. We spend our evening at Songdo Beach for around 1 to 2 hours. The beach is great and clean. When we visited, the weather was just nice, and walking on the Songdo skywalk was extremely great. Then we headed back to our Airbnb.

  • Oryukdo Skywalk
Today we plan to explore the area northeast. Around 9 o’clock we left our Airbnb and headed to Jeonpo Station. From Jeonpo Station we stop at Busan Station. From Busan Station (Busan Subway Line 1) near exit 10, take bus 27 and alight at Oryukdo SK View Humun (Backgate) Bus Stop (25 stops). Walk ahead about 275 meters (3 minutes) to reach the attraction. Nak sampai dkt sini ambik masa juga lah, our stop betul2 last stop. This was an awesome place for a different view! The water and cliff were stunning and to get there was easy by metro and bus. The weather conditions depend if the skywalk is open, but still worth seeing it for the view. That time when we visited there was no one here, not many people here. Good for us! First, we thought to need to pay for the entry but it was free of charge.

  • Shinsegae Centum City Store Department
Then from Oryukdo Skywalk, we moved to Shinsegae Department Store. Take the same bus and stop at Baegunpo Pass to change the bus and take bus no 39. The Shinsegae Centum City Department Store is registered in the Guinness World Records as the largest shopping complex in the world. It's always so big, so classy, the ambiance is great & they have a fantastic supermarket. It is quite similar to Lotte Department Store but we would put it one notch up over Lotte. Kitaorg just cuci mata je, Of course, it's very expensive to shop here. Kitaorg duduk relaxes for a while before moving to the next destination. Next, we moved to BEXCO, just one stop from Shinsegae Centum City Department Store. On the way to the train station, we quite lost because the department store is massive, even though the train station is just below the department store.

  • BEXCO
  • Hanbok Experience Hall
From Shinsegae Centum City Department Store, we arrived at BEXCO Station. This is a great conference and exhibition complex. Everything works and it is very easy to get around. Kitaorg ingat BEXCO provides a prayer room for Muslims because many times I checked that on the official BEXCO website, unfortunately, that time BEXCO only provided it during ASEAN Summit. Then we decided to tumpang solat dkt tepi2 tu since dkt BEXCO mmg tkde orang langsung. So dptlah solat tenang sikit, then we have lunch dkt situ dengan bekal yang kitaorg bawa dri Airbnb. Then, outside BEXCO there is Hanbok Experience Hall. It takes a bit of time to find the little hanbok center as it is not in an obvious place inside the BEXCO. Wearing hanbok clothing for photos is free of charge and there is a display of some hanbok dresses. The attendant could speak foreign languages and be very patient in explaining the history. There are only 6 of us only, no one there, good for us! So kitaorg spend masa dkt situ since takde orang lain.

  • Haeundae Beach
From BEXCO Station we stop at Haeundae Station. Haeundae beach is very famous for international tourists. There weren’t any events going on while we were here - which is good as the beach isn't crowded. It is a nice place to just stroll around & admire the many nice surrounding tall buildings & the beautiful sea & beach. Across on the other side (of course are many dining options. After all, this is a tourist attraction. Although we visited in February and it was a bit cold, this beach was pretty to walk along. There were many holiday lights on the beach, so as soon as the sun went down, it was a beautiful, colorful sight. Also, prior to getting to the beach, there is a market, many restaurants, and cafes. There were a few halal restaurants. People were very friendly and lively in this area.

  • Nampo Street
After then we headed back to our Airbnb, from Haeundae Station we stopped at Nampo Station, a last-minute plan. We plan to find the souvenir and spend our late evening at Gwangbok-ro fashion street. Susah sikit nak cari souvenir Busan sbb mostly yg dijual ialah barang2 cosmetic, dan baju. Then masuk Daiso, ada satu part tu mmg khas untuk souvenir ala2 korea style. So kittaorg borong barang souvenir dkt Daiso je plus murah lah juga. Then we headed back to our Airbnb from Nampo Station.

  • Haedong Yonggusa Temple
So today is our last day in Busan. The first destination was heading to Haedong Yonggusa Temple. From Jeonpo Station stop at Haeundae Station (Busan Subway Line 2), Exit 7, take Bus 181 and get off at Yonggungsa Temple Bus Stop. We went to Haedong Yonggungsa via bus and we needed to climb up to finally meet the entrance of the place. It will take roughly 5-8 minutes walking distance from the bus stop to the entrance. Just make sure you are ready with the proper shoes and water. The view here is very breathtaking and it is very unique and one of the kinds of the temple to be located next to the sea. There is no entrance fee. We went there in winter, on a cold but sunny day. Then you'll see stone monuments, which would lead you to the temple gate. There are flights of steps to go down to the ocean side to see the temple, but it's worth it! There is a promenade to the left of the attraction, along the seawall, that you can adventure through with lots of nice picture-taking opportunities! There is also one spot that resembles Arashiyama Bamboo Groves in Osaka, Japan.

  • Busan Fattah Mosque
Then from Haedong Yonggusa Temple since it's Friday we decided to solat jumaat at Busan Fattah Mosque, we took the bus 1001 and stopped at Centum City Station BEXCO, needed to change the bus and take the bus 1002. Around 1 hour gak lah from Haedong Yonggusa Temple nak sampai. Actually ada train, stop dkt Dusil Station but kitaorg from Haedong so better just naik bas je. Ikut mana2 pun boleh. Our bus stop at Dusil Station and from that need to walk a bit nak sampai ke masjid. Ngam2 sampai baru nak azan. My mom and my little sister solat dekat bahagian atas, ada saf perempuan. After solat, there is a bit juadah from masjid. Dapatlah alas perut. Sebelah masjid ada halal restaurant but we decided to have our lunch at the next destination.

  • Taejongdae Resort Park
From Dusil Station exit Busan Station (Line 1, dan transfer naik bus nombor 66, 88 atau 101). Taejongdae is one of the Busan seaside parks with some great views. If you’re in Busan for more than a week a trip to Taejeondae is a worthy excursion. I recommend the hop on hop off train around the park. We decided to take a train ride, but you can walk up, too. You can easily spend 4 hours if you do some of the hikes. I especially recommend the hike down to the water. It’s not for the faint of heart though. The trails are well designed but it’s steep! The two-hour loop path goes through two small temples (Gumyeongsa and Taejongsa) which are worth a quick stop. From the observation deck Tsushima Island of Japan can be seen if the visibility is good. Yeongdo Lighthouse area is the highlight where the best views of the magnificent seaside cliffs are. There is a lighthouse, and tourists are able to naik but larat tak laratlah. Then we have our late lunch dkt Taejongdae tu, gigih makan dengan sejuk2 angin laut.

After spending our day at Taejongdae then we headed back to our Airbnb. Since today is the last day, we changed our plan to spend our night at Seomyeon street to find some things to bring back. Seomyeon Station and Jeonpo Station is just sebelah2 je, then balik tu dari Seomyeon kitaorg jalan kaki je balik sbb dekat. Then tomorrow morning, after packing our luggage we headed to Gimhae International Aiport. Same as how we came, use the same path, the same train.

Apps
I recommend you guys to use Google Maps. Easy! Plus very accurate. So before nak pergi tu boleh susun itinerary based on the time provided by Google. Seriously very easy to use and accurate. I won't regret it. Google Maps will show the path until you reach the destination. Everything is on Google Maps. if you lost, just Google Maps and follow the sign, it helps.

And also Google Translate. Since Google Translate able to scan via camera so sangat senang! Just scan pki camera nnti automatically dia translatekan.

Wifi
For the first time we decided to use Roaming Man pocket wifi. In my opinion, I prefer using pocket wifi instead of a normal sim Card. Very easy to use and very convenient. Unlimited and much cheaper. Reserved Online and claimed at Klia2 before departure. RM 12 X 6 days = RM 72. There are many options like Samurai Wifi, Wiyo and others. But this time kitaorg decided to use Roaming Man. Since this is our first time, dpt lah sikit discount. More details

Transportation
Dekat Busan still got a train but tk cover semua area lah. Like Seoul mostly semua attraction places easy to access sbb got train stations. So in Busan, trains and buses are the only way to explore attraction places in Busan but don't worry, bus in Busan are easy to access. Just use T-money to pay. Naik bus mcm biasa, naik ikut depan, turun ikut pintu belakang. Naik scan, turun pun scan T-money, as usual. T-money is like a touch n go card, can topup anytime. At the convenience store also can topup. Actually T-money bleh dpt free. You guys just need to fill up the survey. More details. Nah just spend a few minutes to fill out a survey form then you will get a lot of FREE gifts and coupons. After finishing, fill up the survey needed to pick up the item at Korea Plaza, Menara Hap Sen only and for those who would like to receive delivery needed to stamped envelope or POS Laju Prepaid parcel. More info

Metro (Subway) Fare
Fare : One Section - 1,400 won, Two Section - 1,600 won

Bus Fare
Fare : City - 1,200 won, Express - 1,700 won

Accomodation
We decided to use AirBnB since I brought my family is better ada ruang privacy just only for us. Plus using AirBnb is much cheaper than hotel plus we choose a place that provides dapur semua, senang! Our apartment is very comfortable and very near to the convenience store and near to Jeonpo Station. Our Airbnb is not that far from Seomyeon Cafe street, jalan sikit je dh sampai. RM195.47 x 5 nights, total RM 1116.04 includes service fee and tax. So total per person around RM 186 for 5 nights.

Food
At Busan, we decided to bring our food from Malaysia. We bring 2kg daging masak hitam, a lot of nasi impit, beras, maggie, canned food, brahem and snacks. Bawah our Airbnb ada convenience store, so kitaorg beli barang asas like telur, minyak dkt situ je. Since i brought my family, my parents kurang sikit nak makan masakan Korea sbb tu kitaorg bawak bekal banyak gila. So like everyday mmg kitaorg akan bawak bekal. Like klu nk merasa street food, kitaorg beli based on research lah, no meat only seafood. So if you guys cant find any restaurant food try find any Lotteria Restaurant, its like McD lah dekat Malaysia. Lotteria ni kira fast food yang terkenal di Korea and for the price like okay lah. Tapi tak semua boleh makan, just order a shrimp burger Insya’Allah halal.

Budget
So this is our total expense for 6 days in Busan. For the flight include all side charges etc. meal, luggage, tax, and service charge, same goes to the accommodation include cleaning service and tax. Surprisingly, we didn't spend much on food, because we already brought the food from Malaysia, plus tak terasa nak makan sangat makanan dkt sana just spend on the street food dengan makanan dkt convenience store. So like every day, we will organize how much amount need to spend include the food and souvenir, like every day we plan only to spend not more than ₩ 30,000 to ₩ 40,000. Balik tu mmg ada bnyk lgi balance, like bnyk gila. Last day to kitaorg spend Untuk souvenir since still got much balance.
