There are lots of lovely shops along the Main Street. Walk to the river and relax for a bit then (If you took the train) able to walk along the streets visiting Tenruji temple and the bamboo groove. To avoid the crowds, visiting the bamboo grove during daytime pagi-pagi is recommended. We went during this time and there were a lot of people.
Act, the palnning is after shopping at Shinsaibashi we want to visit the National Museum of Art Osaka and Science National Musem but then tak sempat.
Train




- · Kansai International Airport (KIX)
Arrived at Kansai International Airport around 5/4PM mcm tu since
depart from KUL pagi2 subuh. And then after pickup luggage semua directly go to
JR-West Ticket Office to claim ICOCA Card and Haruka Express. Since our
apartment near to Osaka Castle then we stop at Tenoji Station by Haruka Express
and from Tenoji Station change to normal subway. At Tenoji Staton to act might
be susah sikit, dkt situ ada beribu2 station so better careful if tk sure
better ask police bantuan dkt situ. So our next station kena kluar dari Tenoji
Station tu, and then directly go to Tanimachi Yonchome Station.
- Dotonbori (No Entrance Fee)
Malam tu after arrived at our apartment mlm tu we decide spend our
night at Dotonbori. So from Tanimachi Yonchome Station exit at Nipponbashi
Station. Ebisu Bridge, This is one of the most famous and busiest bridge in
Osaka due to the Glico man and Dotonbori. It is better to came here at night to
take photos due to the colorful neon lights on both sides of the surrounding
buildings.

- Arashiyama Bamboo Forest (No Entrance Fee)
Today we decide to explore Kyoto! So our first destination to
visit Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. So since we want to visit Kyoto, it might take
1 hour or more from osaka to arrived Arashiyama Station so we decide to go
early morning pheww. From Tanimachi Yonchome Station exit Higashi-Umeda Station
and change to Umeda Station using Hankyu-Kyoto Line and stop at Katsura Station
and then change train to line Hankyu-Arashiyama Line. Agak leceh sikit, so
better hati-hatilah, kalau ragu-ragu better ask someone. (Please refer to Google
Maps)
After arrived at Arashiyama Station kena jalan sikit nak ke sana.
Pagi-pagi tu agak segar sikit, fresh air. Lalu Togetsukyo Bridge, This is an
iconic bridge here. It is very crowded with tourists. On the bridge, you will
get a nice view of the landscape and old buildings around. Jalan sikit lagi
sampailah Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Yeay! For an absolutely beautiful and
calming experience walk through the bamboo grove.

- · Fushimi Inari Taisha (No Entrance Fee)
After then we decide to visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, from
Arashiyama Bamboo Forest find Saga Station and directly go to Inari Station,
but first from Saga Station stop at Kyoto Station and change to Kyoto Station
Nara Line and exit to Inari Station. Agak crowded waktu ni, We spent a couple
of hours trudging up the stairways. Fushimi is the hightlight of Kyoto. This
Shrine is very beautiful and have huge area to be explored. No admission fee
(yes, FREE), clean and everyone is welcome here. Maybe it's a touristy
destination and some say it's too main stream.
- · Gion Street (No Entrance Fee)
From Fushimi Inari Taisha find Fushimi Inari Station not Inari
Station, you guys need to walk a little bit not that far. From Fushimi
Inari Station exit to Gion-Shijo Station around 12min then you will be arrived
at Gion! The Gion area is mostly famous for its Geisha or Maiko and beautiful
Shirakawa river but sadly we don’t find any Geisha hm. It is also close to
Maruyama park and Chion-In Temple. After sightseeing, you can just cross the
street to go shopping and get some food. You can find many shops that rent
kimonos. At Gion there a few Halal Restaurant, so we decide have our
lunch/dinner at Naritaya Halal Yakiniku, there provide surau too so boleh lah
singgah solat sekali.
- · Rokko Snow Park
Today we decide to visit Mount Rokko for some snow experience.
Mount Rokko act located at Kobe so from Tanimachi Yonchome Station exit at
Osaka Station. Osaka Station ni pun luas juga so better stick together takut
lost. Then straight forward to Hankyu Tourist Center at Osaka Umeda Station.
Since we decide to visit Mount Rokko, we buy Rokkosan Tourist Pass ¥3,000 for
foreign travelers. This pass include train to Kobe, bus, and cable car to mount
Rokko and also entry pass to Rokko Snow Park. Act ada banyak pass, ada yang tak
include entry pass it depends on you guys punya budget later their staff will
explain more.
Arrived at Rokko Station then cari
bas untuk ke Mount Rokko. Bus ni kiranya looping bus, so show the ticket that
already buy at Hankyu Tourist Center then stop at Rokko Cable Shita Sta. No
need to pay if you guys already buy the pass just show the ticket. So after
then you guys need to take another bus to arrive Rokko Snow Park then finally
you will be arrived at Rokko Snow Park. Its freaking cold! You can rent the
equipment. A lot things can be explored, especially for kids. There is a
restaurant that offer halal food. Outside Rokko Snow Park ni act ada surau,
very convenience.
- · Umeda Sky Building
On the way to going back our apartment, we need to change train at
Umeda Station so we decide to explored a little bit of what the area had to
offer. So from Umeda Station we walk little bit and find HEP Five Ferris Wheel,
Its Stunning! Then we walk little bit, on the way to Umeda Sky Bulding sadly
way to go Umeda Sky Building is temporiraly close for some construction and
need to walk a little bit, since I brought my family then we decide to have
spend time at Grand Front north wing. After that we decide to visit Pokemen
Center at Umeda Station but we little bit lost hmmm then decide to back to our
apartment to have some rest. Masing-masing dah penat.

- · Nara park (No Entrance Fee)
We recently visited Nara Park and explored a little bit of what
the area had to offer. So from Tanimachi Yonchome exit at kinetsu Nara Station
but before that from Tanimachi Yonchome Station stop at Ikoma Station and
change Line to Kinetsu Nara Station. Nara Station ni station yang terakhir. So
after arrived at Kinetsu Nara Station, need to walk little bit to Nara Park.
Sepanjang jalan tu akan terserempak herd of deer. Kena careful sikit kalau ada
bawa makanan tu. The park has biscuits for sale that they love. Act there a lot
of temple there and Toda-Ji temple is one of them. There also a few shrine to
visit. Overall a very nice place to take a stroll.
- Kuromon ichiba Market (No Entrance Fee)
From Kinetsu Nara Station exit at Nipponbashi Station. If you want
to experience a kind of local market you might want to spend a trip there. It’s
a nice market with loads to feast on in terms of fresh seafood. But it’s very
crowded! Boleh try makanan dekat situ since everything is seafood and certain
kedai ada sign halal.
- · Nipponbashi den-Den Town (No Entrance Fee)
Walk a little bit around 2/3mins from Kurromon Ichiba Market and
forward to Den Den town. This is an area with lots of shops selling
electronics, gaming, animae and cosplay items. A must for Anime Fans! We spent
quite a few hours walking around Denden Town browsing all the shops and finding
fantastic anime figurines, posters and key chains. This is the area you come to
in order to experience a bit of otaku culture (manga, anime, electronics etc).
The claw machines shops which are bigger and per games is ¥100 Yen are preferred over
small shops which per game is ¥200.
Dekat sini je dah habis berapa ribu yen HAHA. Merasa lah lain sikit, Like every
floor lain jenis archade game, quite interesting!
- · Dotonbori (No Entrance Fee)
Since its to early, we are going back our apartment for a while
then we decided to spend our time at Dotonbori. Why not because not that far if
using subway. Dotobori is very big area for shopping, unfortunately we are not
explored every area just only certain place because luas sangat pheww.

- · Universal City Walk (No Entrance Fee)
Since our apartment near to Osaka Castle then we decide to
explored far places first and lastly near to Osaka area. Since that morning is
raining, than we decide to visit Universal City Walk. From Tanimachi
Yonchome exit Universal-City Station. Since this is budget trip, we just walk
around Universal City Walk. Its Free! Why not.
- · Osaka Castle Park (No Entrance Fee)
From Universal City Station exit Osakajokoen Station. if you visit
osaka japan you must be visit this castle, with a full of history and beautiful
ornament. It is beautiful and quite an architectural marvel. It took a long
walk to get there, but worthed it. It is a big tourist attraction so be wary of
the crowds. Nak masuk Osaka Castle kena bayar, since dalam tu just a museum
then we decide to take picture from the outside.
- · Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street (No Entrance Fee)
Since our apartment near to Osaka Castle we decide to go back to
our apartment first, solat and lunch first and proceed to Dotonbori. Act
Shinsaibashi is near to Dotonbori. There are a lot of souvenir shop at Dotonbori.
Lots of tax-free deals, shops for everyone and very crowded. Very cool, worth
an afternoon or morning if you're keen for a shopping spree. Bersesak juga lah
dekat sini. Boleh try Lotteria Restaurant, try order Ebibaga(Shrimp Burger)
Insya’allah halal. I'm not into shopping at all but it's amazing to just walk
along this shopping street a few times and marvel at the energy of the place,
the colours, lights and throb of human busy-ness! It makes for a great walk and
if you finish in Dotombori you'll never see a neon display like it!

Since we already buy Haruka Express for return, so from Tanimachi
Yonchome directly go to Tenoji Station to change to Haruka Express. At Kansai
Airport you guys boleh claim the refund for ICOCA Card at JR-West Ticket
Office, tempat yang sama masa mula-mula claim tu. Act dekat Kansai Airport ada
banyak kemudahan untuk Muslim. There a lot of halal restaurant and also there
are surau available for visitor/passenger. So boleh lah explored Kansai
Airport, cari souvenir ke.
Train
ICOCA Card act like touch n go lah we can topup and beside ICOCA
Card there a lot of passes like Osaka Amazing Pass, JR West Rail Pass, Kansai Thru
Pass and many more. It depend on your itinerary where you want to go, different
card have their own benefits and function so you guys need to study first lah,
sbb kitaorg dh pening tak tahu nk pilih mana then decide to choose ICOCA Card.
SETTLE! Ok act if you guys buys ICOCA Card and Haruka Express is much cheaper. So
if you guys decide to use ICOCA Card and Haruka Express you guys needs to
reserve online, no need bayar dh sampai Kansai nk claim baru bayar. More details
"ICOCA & HARUKA" is a set containing an "ICOCA" IC card (pre-charged with 1,500 yen) and a discounted ticket for the Kansai-Airport Express "HARUKA." Accomodation
We decide to use AirBnB since I brought my family is better ada
ruang privacy just only for us. Plus using AirBnb ni much cheaper than hotel
plus we choose place that provide dapur semua, senang! Our apartment very
comfortable and very near to the convenient store. *p/s: please bersihkan
your sampah first before buang. Cuci and asingkan plastik, kertas, tin semua.
RM148.40 Per night x 5 nights = RM 724, includes the
cleaning fee and service fee RM 1092.66. So RM 182.11 Per Person
for 5 nights.


Wifi
We decide to use Wiyo Wifi. Very easy to use and very convenient. Unlimited
and much cheaper. Reserved Online and claim at Klia2 before departure.
RM 11 X 6 days = RM 66 include the deposit RM 200 total RM266.
Don’t worry the deposit will be refund after you guys return the pocket
wifi. More details

Apps
I recommend you guys to use Google Maps. Easy! Plus very accurate.
So before nak pergi tu boleh susun itinerary based on the time given. Seriously
very easy to use and accurate. I wont regret.
And also Google Translate. Since Google Translate able to scan via
camera so sangat senang! Just scan pki camera nnti automatically dia
translatekan.
